Stock Spirits Group, company belonging to one of the leading global private equity funds – CVC Capital Partners, has signed a conditional acquisition agreement with Polmos Bielsko-Biala S.A.

From the very beginning of the investment in Stock Spirits Group at the end of 2021, CVC Capital Partners declared willingness to further dynamic development of the company, e.g. in the category of high-quality products.

The acquisition of Polmos Bielsko-Biała with its flagship brand Biały Bocian is the first step in this direction. “By starting a joint journey with Stock Spirits Group, one of the leaders in the alcohol sector in the CEE region, we announced, among others development of the organization in Poland and expansion of the offer of our products and services. The planned investment in Polmos Bielsko-Biała fits perfectly into the strategy we have adopted building the value of the group” – said Krzysztof Krawczyk, Partner at CVC Capital Partners.

Stock Spirits is one of the leading companies producing spirits and liqueurs. It has an established position in the category of flavored alcohols and pure vodkas in Poland and in the Czech Republic. Stock Spirits Group also develops its revenue management skills including, above all, the use of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. Investment in Polmos Bielsko-Biała supports the plans of the company focusing primarily on developing a new range of products and services, entering new markets and developing a portfolio high-quality products.

Biały Bocian is the flagship product of Polmos Bielsko-Biała, manufactured according to traditional rules only from selected cereals and crystal clear water.

Polmos Bielsko-Biala S.A. is one of the most recognized manufacturers of alcohols in Poland with 200 years of heritage. The company has more than 10 brands in its portfolio. In addition to the Biały Bocian, consumers also know such products as: Ogiński, Extra Żytnia or Advocaat.

The transaction will be finalized once the regulatory processes are completed.
