In this difficult time, it is important to help Ukraine on various levels – material, financial, but also support for employees from Ukrain who are here in Poland. Stock Polska joins in activities and announces further initiatives.

Statement by Marek Sypek, Managing Director of Stock Polska

(…) Last Thursday our world changed dramatically. We would like to express words of support to all affected by the war in Ukraine.

As a company, we feel responsible for all our employees, and in this special time, especially for employees from Ukraine. We are in constant contact with each of them, each of them has received financial support from us and everyone can count on our further help.

We have also decided that if any of our employees decides to return to their home country to support their loved ones during this particularly difficult time, or to fight for the freedom of their homeland, we will treat such absence as paid leave and guarantee a job after returning to Poland. The situation is exceptional and requires exceptional action.

At the same time, we are also working on financial support for Ukraine. We know that there are still many hard days ahead of us all and that help for refugees and those fighting will be needed not only today, but certainly in the coming months – Marek Sypek, Managing Director of Stock Polska.

The company emphasizes that this is the basic form of support for Ukraine and only an introduction to further activities for it. At the same time, many employees undertook bottom-up initiatives to help, organizing themselves and contributing their own contributions.

During this time, we especially ask for empathy and openness to the needs of people around us. Despite the fact that we are divided by administrative borders, let’s look around us and notice the people who are directly affected by this difficult situation.
