Stock Polska has held its first ever e-sport tournament for bartenders. Amateurs and professionals competed in the Stock Prestige Bartender VR League to test their bartending skills and knowledge of cocktail recipes.
Stock Prestige Bartender VR League is an innovative project which resulted from close collaboration between Stock Polska and VR Factory. It was the first project of the kind in Poland. Participants competed against each other in the virtual world using VR equipment developed in cooperation with six-time Bartending World Champion, Tomek Malek. The Bartender VR Simulator offers a unique combination of simulator, bartending course and an innovative immersive VR game which is customisable. Stock Polska was able to customise its VR bars with its leading brands.
The winner was selected from among the 32 best bartenders taking part in the tournament series. After an initial qualification round, 3 regional tournaments took place in Gdańsk, Kraków, and Warsaw. The tournament winners from each region competed in the grand final in the Lotf44 club in Warsaw on 17 October where the winner of the 1st edition of the Stock Prestie Bartender VR League was Mikołaj Zawada from Kraków.
This is great example of Stock Spirits digital strategy in action. The latest technology is being used to build brand awareness, trial and engagement in a highly differentiated and compelling way amongst influential bar tenders, many of whom are “digital natives”.
