Stock Slovensko donates to local community charities

Slovakian tax legislation allows companies to make charitable donations from their company tax. Having completed their tax declaration for FY2020, Stock Slovensko was able to donate 2% of its company tax to three local community charities across Slovakia.

Stock Slovensko donated to:-

  • Depaul Slovensko, a charity established in 2006 which aims to address the needs of homeless people sleeping rough in Bratislava, Slovakia's capital city.
  • Svetielko Pomoci, operating in the Košice and Prešov regions of Slovakia, who help take care of children during and after treatment for oncological and hematological diseases or in the terminal stage of life, and to assist families after the loss of a child.
  • Dom Božieho Milosrdenstva, a hospice and care centre for the elderly based in central Slovakia. They provide comprehensive palliative care to people in the pre-terminal and terminal stages of illness as well as support to patients' families.

This is an effective way to ensure local community charities benefit from tax and as a Group we're delighted to be in a position to help.
