Success at the World Vodka Awards 2021

Two of Stock Spirits Group’s leading vodka brands, Amundsen Expedition and Keglevich, were recognised at the World Vodka Awards 2021 for their premium quality.

Both Amundsen Expedition and Keglevich have excelled at the 2021 World Vodka Awards. The two products won Silver and Bronze respectively in the Taste category for Pure Neutral Vodkas.

Presented by TheDrinksReport.com, the world's no.1 online resource for drinks professionals, the World Vodka Awards select, reward and promote the world's best vodkas to consumers and trade across the globe.

The Taste categories are based upon widely recognized vodka segments defined by the style and process of vodka production. Medals are awarded according to taste and design via three rounds of judging by a panel including leading journalists, specialist drinks retailers and industry experts.

Amundsen Expedition won a silver medal thanks to its unique taste profile; a touch of floral notes on the nose and a pleasantly balanced sweetness with a dominant body of cereals on the palate. On the finish, light peppery notes were perceived. This exceptionally smooth vodka stands out thanks to a combination of selected ingredients, a slow distillation process and a unique bottle inspired by the icebergs of the South Pole.

Keglevich won a bronze medal for the second year in a row. Among the oldest vodkas in the world, born in 1882, it is bottled in Poland using carefully selected high quality ingredients, 100% pure grain, six times distilled. With an intense and pungent aroma, it stands out for its clean taste, vanilla on the nose with a light floral body. In the finish there is a note of peppery aniseed which is well balanced with a touch of creaminess.
