Construction starts on new Lublin distillery

Foundation stone laid as work commences on PLN 120 million facility.

Work is underway on the new distillery in Lublin.  With the capacity to produce 100,000 litres of spirits per day, the total area of the new distillery together with the accompanying infrastructure will cover approximately 5,800m2, which is one tenth of our current industrial plot at Lublin.

Demolition works and the adaptation of some squares and internal alleys have been completed and initial construction work is scheduled for the beginning of 2022. Supervision of the project is being handled by Lodz-based company, Biotechnika.

"Such a large and modern investment will allow Lublin to strengthen its position on the European map of leading alcohol producers for many years to come and thanks to the new distillery, we will be able to supply new foreign markets more easily." commented Marek Sypek, Managing Director of Stock Polska.

Current timelines aim to commission the new distillery at the beginning of 2023 and it is expected to create approximately 30 new jobs within production, storage and administration.
